BACK TO OLD FORM
I dont know what it is about thursday meets at Geelong, but for some reason i can just look at the form guide, and with seeminly ease, pull of a quaddie. I have now done it twice in a row at Geelong on a thursday, however my anger is that geelong meetings are very rare on thursday. I guess next time, ill make sure my quaddie is worth a $5 unit, instead of the regular 50c unit.

WELL BUGGER ME
Now i have almost seen every thing, a certain someone, who for security reasons will be know as abdullah. Abdullah hate my lossing Vee eight TAB ticket, thats rite, he chewed it and swalowed it, so i deicided to see how far he would go. I then pulled out a $50 note, and to my horror and surprise, witin seconds abdullah was chewing it and it looked for all money he was gonna swallow it. Thank god he didnt, but the note was covered in bite marks.

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year? umm, there was a few, but i really enjoyed winning the $1000 quaddie at geelong. I was that nervous that i couldnt watch the last leg, as i only had 1 horse. My mate nick from tafe had to watch it, and luckly eddo romped it home by 6 lengths. My quaddie ticket was for a 50c unit, whick meant i should have got half of $1000, however for some unknown reson, i was paid the full $1 unit.
2. What was your biggest disappointment? Watching the storm go down in the semi final to the buldogs, but what was even worse that the broncos blew a 16-0 lead the week before, had they have won, storm were straight into the prelims.
3. What do you hope the new year brings? Money, more quaddie wins, and full time employment, which all just means more money.
4. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? If yes, what will they be? No
5. What are your plans for New Year's Eve? Mabye go to Harold Park, watch some quailty harness races.

WHERE IS THE JUSTICE???
Ive been driving for just under three years, sure im not what you call a "perfect driver", but the bottom line is ive now had 2 traffic offences in 3 years. Does that warrant a 3 month suspension of my licence?? according to Mr Bracks it does. P platers who accumulate 5 or more pts in a year will now loose there lisence for 3mths, and i fit into that category. And to add insult to injury im off my P's in 4 weeks. Guess i will have to seek legal advice real fast as i do not wish to fall victim to a obvious loophole in the governments crack down on P Platers.

FUNNY Site
Well i have seen many drama's in the wonderfull world of racing, but what i saw at Colac today is among the very best of them. The starter lets the field go as usual, however after a few hundred meters, the race calller notes that several of the jockeys are pulling theres horses up. This is because the starter accidentally pressed the false start button. As a result, there were four late scratching, including the highly fancied kellaman, who was miles ahead of the field before its jockey realised there was a false start, but hey racing wouldnt be the same with out such drama.

WORDS OF WISDOM
I have just about as much as Coles as i can handle. After 4 years, the novelty of stacking fruit, cutting punkim, and handling watermelons is starting to draw a little thin. Hopefully i can get a full time job soon, and at the moment i have applied for one job, and have had 2 interviews as a result. Oh and congradulations to Bombastic shiraz on the melbourne cup/topgun double, and the Indian captain on a magnificant 144 at the Gabba. Untill next time, remember, one less pick in a quaddie could be a dangerous option.

THE PRESSURE IS ON
I have got 7 days, to do 4 projects of about 2000 words each. Then i need to do another 2000 word on one of my half finished projects. So i got my work cut out, looks like i will have to miss the rugular Thursday Nite antics. OH and congradulations to Western Waters, for winning the Bendigo/Ballarat Cup double.
